Bracket Fans vs. Ceiling Fans: Which is Right for You?

With the arrival of summer, it is not surprising that several people are now searching online to buy a new fan for their business or home. A fan is an equipment that does air circulation. In reality, fans are cooling machines that could help ventilate and help keep the room's temperature suitable. But with two main types of fans to opt from, ceiling fans and bracket fans, it might take time to decide which cooling option is right for people. Please read what bracket fans and ceiling fans have to offer and make the decision yourself.

Bracket Fan

A bracket fan differs from a ceiling fan as it features a fan in a walled cage to prevent its blades from getting exposed to passersby and to avert injury. Usually, electrical professionals install bracket fans onto a wall around eye level and are developed to swivel forth and back to pass air from one corner of the room to another. Sometimes bracket fans are not installed on walls but put on a table or a floor to let users easily control them. The controls for range and movement speed are on the top or side of the bracket fans.

Benefits of Bracket Fans

This blog section informs you about the benefits of bracket fans to help you decide which of the two kinds of fans is better for you.

1 Occupies Less Space

A bracket fan is a nice substitute if people are not interested in buying a table fan. It would occupy no ceiling or floor space. Bracket fans occupy a small area on the wall. Bracket fans are a nice choice if you are interested in keeping your fan away from kids.

2 Ideal for Instant Cooling

Buying a bracket fan is an excellent choice if people want a fan featuring instant cooling. This fan would help people ensure that their room is not moist. A bracket fan is also developed to evaporate sweat and keep people cool. Bracket fans are small, and people can install them without technical knowledge.

3 Offers Ventilation

Enclosed and small areas could become suffocating if they lack proper air circulation. Nevertheless, bracket fans can establish an airy environment in these regions due to their high efficiency and small size.

4 Directional and Rotational Airflow

Bracket fans offer airflow in every direction. Their users can adjust their flow path by making airflow unidirectionally through them or switching on their swing mode. People must always buy bracket fans featuring a broader airflow delivery system, as it lets them cool their rooms faster.

Ceiling Fans

Ceiling fans are fans installed on the ceiling and expand downwards into a room. These fans became very famous when it was discovered that cooling a room featuring ceiling fans was more economical than air conditioning. Both bracket fans and ceiling fans work by resulting in the movement of vast amounts of air over the skin to help speed up sweat evaporation, which consequently cools down the body.

Benefits of Using Ceiling Fans

This blog section discusses the advantages of ceiling fans to help you decide whether you should prefer these fans over bracket fans.

1. Decreased Energy Costs

Ceiling fans do not decrease the room's temperature. Nevertheless, these fans make people in a room feel three to four degrees cooler by circulating air. By setting up the thermostat a bit higher to benefit from the air circulation of the fan, people can save up to thirty to forty percent on their energy bill.

2. Various Decorating Styles

With so many various types of ceiling fans available in the market, finding the best one to complement every decorating style is simple. Ceiling fans for children's rooms are available in every theme, from sports, globes, flowers, ladybugs, and more. A special ceiling fan is not just functional; it could also play the role of a room's focal point. Some ceiling fans even feature interchangeable blades to let users change their style without needing to replace the motor.

3. Versatile Placement

People can install ceiling fans in different rooms. These encompass kitchens, bedrooms, porches, or every room where they constantly want air circulation to occur.

4. Year-Round Utilization

People may think they can only use ceiling fans during the hot summer. This is not true. Ceiling fans feature a switch on their base that enables their blades to let the dispersal of warm air take place downwards throughout the cold winter season.

5. Layered Lighting

Many ceiling fans feature an added lighting fixture that people can utilize to add a layered and beautiful light texture to their room.

Conclusion

After reading about the benefits of ceiling fans and bracket fans, you have to decide which of these two kinds of fans is right for you. If you want to install fans for ventilation and get rid of moisture easily, buy bracket fans.

4 Simple Steps of the Iron Wire Manufacturing Process

Iron Wire has become essential for daily use. From the construction industry to electronic manufacturing, iron wires are necessary for these sorts of projects. But have you ever wondered how galvanized iron wire is produced? Here in this post, we will go through the manufacturing process of Galvanized Iron Wires in simple steps. Procurement of Raw Material Steel rods are used and act as the primary raw material used to manufacture different types of iron wires along with cleaning agents like Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) solution, Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) base, pickle liquor, and oils. The raw material is procured from a trusted vendor and the quality of the raw material is checked by Incoming Quality Control (IQC) units. After the quality is checked, raw material is stored in designated storage areas with storage recommendations from the supplier. Pickling & Oiling of Steel Rods These steps are used to treat the metal surface in the finishing and cleaning to remove traces of rust and impurities from the surface. In this process, raw steel rods are placed in a rack that is rinsed in tanks. The rack is then placed in a cleaning machine containing an amount of Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) base to remove dust and other impurities from the surface of the rods. The rack containing rinsed and cleaned steel rods are then immersed in another tank of Hydrochloric acid (HCl) and is kept long enough to treat and remove corrosion, rust, and scales contained on the surface. This step is called pickling. After initial rinsing and pickling, the tank is then rinsed again to remove the Hydrochloric acid from the surface. After the second rinse, it is fed again in the cleaning machine for the second time with a Sodium Hydroxide base to neutralize the traces of HCl into salt. After all the steps, the rack is rinsed one last time and then oils are applied on the surface to keep them corrosion free. The Process of Wire Drawing The process of wire drawing is started when the clean and pickled steel rods are rolled in large bobbins. The rods then have to be passed through various wire drawing machines. The machines are of different sizes and diameters. To get the desired size of iron wire, the rod has to go through the drawing machine multiple times to achieve the required size. The size of the larger wire reduces gradually due to the thick and dense material. By following the first three steps, black iron wire is manufactured industrially. Galvanization process The black iron wire is then sent for metal coating or galvanization for a smooth and silky surface as well as high resistibility. Mostly Galvanization is carried out using two methods, hot dip galvanized method and electroplating.   In this way, Galvanized iron wire is obtained in bulk quantity.
